Members of this trip will be involved and mutually encouraged in the work GCA does on a daily basis by visiting the communities they work in, such as: Sojourn Studios (vocational training), lunch with local families in their homes, and ECDP (Early Childhood Development Program). The trip will also include hosting a refreshing retreat for the GCA staff, giving them a much needed break from the trauma and weight of the clients’ situations they encounter day in and day out, and filling them up with encouragement in the Spirit.

Soccer and Salvation is a ministry started 2014 by Nef and Alyssa Rubio. The ministry is based on using the sport of soccer to bring people out to events at which they will hear the gospel message. These events are run by our missions team in partnership with local churches. The local church will use the contacts made and follow up and develop meaningful relationships. We will aide them in support, materials, and man power while we are there. Our goal is to mobilize our students and 'BE' the Church.

PURPOSE: This trip is in partnership with Global Child Advocates. Members of this trip will be involved and mutually encouraged in the work GCA does on a daily basis by visiting the communities they work in, such as: Sojourn Studios (vocational training), lunch with local families in their homes, and ECDP (Early Childhood Development Program). The trip will also include hosting a refreshing retreat for the GCA staff, giving them a much needed break from the trauma and weight of the clients’ situations they encounter day in and day out, and filling them up with encouragement in the Spirit.
